THE OMENS
Omen- an occurrence that is believed to be a supernatural indicator of future good or evil!

The Omens are a four piece Garage and psych combo from Denver Colorado
that formed in january of 2004 in order to create music that would be an
alternative to the bland, canned and trendy digital sounds being pushed
through the airwaves and live clubs throughout the land.

Hungry vinyl record junkies chewing up and consuming vest amours of
sounds from ever overflowing record collections. One listen and it becomes
apparent that the group is built on influences that run wide and deep into the
sounds of the sixties. That of the Garage and Psychedelic variety to be
precise. But dig deeper and it also becomes obvious that this band is steeped in
other things as well. Raw Rockabilly, Paisley folk and Backwoods Rhythm &
Blues all mixed with the high energy of punk rock..

Having toured extensively throughout the USA and Canada, October 2012
marks the band fourth tour of Europe to coincide with the release of their
third Full length entitled FUZZ FADES AND ESCAPADES on Germany's
Soundflat Records.

From Paris, street rock, 77 spirit

- JessyKid (ex-Plus Plus Plus, X-Tension...) forme le groupe à Paris sous le nom de THE NEXT, avec Elian de treuilmon à la basse (Bouton Rouge, French Boutik). L'année d'après, le groupe change de nom pour s'appeler THE MIXT et fait son 1er concert à Paris. The MIXT propose une conception originale d'un Street-Rock évolutif et teinté de Reggae, puisant son inspiration parmi des groupes tels que The Ruts ou LKJ. La formation power-trio (guitare-chant, basse-choeurs, batterie-choeurs) permet une exécution efficace : C'est un classique du genre.
- Sortie d'un CD autoproduit 9 titres, enregistrés au Studio WhiteNights à Montreuil avec la complicité de Nicolas et JC.
